EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as Tapping, is a powerful mind-body, self-help tool that anyone can do on their own. For bigger issues, it is often more beneficial to work with a practitioner who can help get at the blind-spots you just don't see.
I like the analogy of pumping your own gas for your car, and going to a mechanic for more serious work. By working with me, you will learn how to tap, so you can work by yourself between sessions and on your own. What I love about EFT is that it's a great tool to have in your self-care kit.
You might have heard about EFT in the media - it truly is an amazing technique that has a number of benefits, and is quickly gaining in its popularity.
It often helps to reduce stress, relieve what's bothering you, and help shift those self-limiting beliefs that are responsible for how you are running your life.
You know...the beliefs that hold you back, like:
"I'm not good enough," "I'm too old", "I'll never find my soulmate", "I'll never be rich", "I'll never find a job that makes me happy", "Who am I to make it big?", "I have to work very hard to make money" ... any of these sound familiar?
How does EFT work?
EFT is a combination of acupressure and talking about the issue that is bothering you. It deals with the negative energetic emotions that are so intertwined in the situation at hand. At first it can look a little strange, tapping on various points on your face and body while talking. But people quickly forget that, when they see how effective it can be.
If you were to look at us under a very strong microscope, you’d see that we’re made of energy.
When an unpleasant event happens in our life, it impacts us energetically and gets stored in the body as a memory. It can often appear as stress and a number of other manifestations, including limiting beliefs - stories that shape our outlook on life.
EFT can help lessen the severity, and often get rid of the problem completely, by releasing the negative energy and emotion related to the issue that is trapped in the body.
Hands down, EFT is my go-to tool, when working with clients in my coaching practice. While they may be hesitant at first to try this crazy-looking tapping thing, they often request it at the onset of a session, when they see what it can do for them.
How many sessions do I need?
The number of sessions needed varies per person and depends on the issue. We are all unique in how we respond to what happened in our lives to get us to where we are today.
So while you may have heard about the one-session wonders for major issues (I have witnessed a number of them in my experience) I would say that they are not very common. With that said, most people experience some sort of shift in the first session, and this encourages them to continue.
My EFT session packages
As a result, I offer a three, one-hour session package for $240. After that if you would like a tune-up, I offer existing clients a one-hour session for $90.
I also offer a three, one-and-a-half hour session package for $360, with a tune-up for existing clients at $150. What is the difference in the two packages? Simply more time to dedicate to the issue in a session. Good if you're new to EFT/Tapping.
For bigger issues, multiple packages may be required. It's all up to how the sessions play out and the progress you're making, and how far you want to go.
When working with first-time clients, I recommend my First-time package:
To make sure you understand how to tap, we have time to review your input paperwork, we can discuss your challenges and goals, and actually make some tapping progress in the first session, I've found it best to have 90 minutes scheduled for this initial session. The 2 remaining sessions are 60 minutes. This first-time package is $280.
Please let me know if there is anything more I can tell you about EFT and how I work. I offer a free 15-minute consultation on the phone or Skype, so we can "meet" and discuss what EFT can do for you and if it makes sense to work together.
I look forward to talking to you!
